Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we?!
I write historical romance with Pirates. My pen is Raelle Logan.
What prompted you to pursue a career as a writer?
I’ve been writing since I was a kid. Back then, I was into Westerns because of my Dad. He loved western movies. Later, my Mom worked at a library, and one summer, she brought home a bunch of romance books for me to read to keep me busy. My favorites were from author Victoria Holt. I was hooked on historical romance.
Do you have any special writing habits?
Not really. I just sit at my desk with my laptop and let the words fly.
When you write a new book, do you already have the whole story in mind or do you elaborate it along the way?
I start with an idea, but I never know where the story will lead. It’s not planned out or outlined. I could never do anything planned. It’s not my style.
In your opinion what is the best book you have written? What’s your favourite book ever?
I think SHATTERED is my best book so far. It comes out in September. I have no real favorites.
How do you feel after writing a book?
Nervous. I always fret that the book might not be perfect enough. The curse of a writer.
